If you are a resident of the State of Virginia and you need to claim for unemployment benefits online, please check out http://www.vaemploy.com/ to file it. The VEC takes all applications for Unemployment Insurance and EUC at no cost to you.

ReplyDeleteI was told after updating my info to set up a user ID an pass word. Did that, but what happens..it won't work! when it was time to file my claim for the week..but I had the phone access an it excepted it. So would I still get my benifits...well I guess I will see. Sorry to say but whoever came up with this online stuff...well let's just say it don't work!!!

that they received the info and I have not received benefits since Jan.6th.Right now I have a eviction notice but do they care..They get their pay every week why not us.My niece use to
work for State and she said they don't do any work on Mondays and Fridays.We all have bills to
pay and I'm not asking for charity
As of the beginning of this year my benefits check has been cut in half. I did not get a notice or anything about it and now I cannot get through to speak to ANYONE!!! Very frustrated. I have bills to pay! Anyone know why no one can get through???
ReplyDeleteI cannot get thru. I called a "southern" office, they answered the phone right away but would not help me. I emailed my office. They wrote back and told me not to email and to call the 2363 number. I have called over 4 weeks and NEVER got thru, so now I write the date down when I tried to call.

I have tried to reach someone at this office on several occasions. I have .39 in my account haven't had a deposit since Nov 11th, my benifits are about to run out only had 12 weeks of benifits in the first place. They asked for additional information, I sent it haven't heard a thing. Anonymous wrote something about a trick her dad did..how can I finish the thread? man! WTF is wrong with these people?
ReplyDeleteI have been trying to find out where are my w2s for 2009 and when where they sent out. I have called the 866 83d2-2363 100 times and no one ever will pick up no matter how much i try calling. whats up.???????

ReplyDeleteI had to wait almost two months for a fact finding interview. When their website LIES and says it takes TWO WEEKS to have the interview. Now I have to wait app. one week and three days to find out if I'm going to receive my unemployment. It is true; they don't care because it's not them. What about our financial obligations. Virginia is a terrible place. You would think the money was coming out of the VEC employees pockets. Hopefull one day they will be in our shoes and they can get a taste of what they have being giving out to others sooooo long.

ReplyDeleteWell, I for one can certainly understand everyone's frustration as I too have tried calling (without success)and haven't received my check. Having said that, I will throw this in for free. For those which this applies, I hope you can NOW see what your lethargic consciousness has reeped as you continue to PURSUE & PREFER alternative means of wireless communications. I forsaw this nonsense as ABUSE always follows Ignorance. Everytime you text, twitter, or use email as communication means, you encourage people to smirk their duties and leave you to your own devices. Now we all are suffering because you've essentially spawned "yourselves" and are now "likely" in control of the very system you created yet despise. The remedy you ask? STOP doing business with ANY business that doesn't have a phone number posted (and answers it) and patronize the ones that do. Of course and unfortunately, except such services as are absolute necessary such as our troubling VEC. And STOP texting while driving. Another ABUSE that's getting peple killed!

Why ohh Why do they make us suffer. bills need to be paid,food on the table etc. what the hell is the deal with my benifits???. All my live I had a job (26yes) and when I need something back from all those years that I put in. They tell me dial a joke. Hell at least dial a joke somebody will talk to you..GIVE ME MY DAM MONEY so that I can take care of my family......
ReplyDeleteI've been on unemployment for a 1yr & 5mos. all the sudden for no reason I didn't get a benefit check for the last two weeks I wish somebody could tell me whats next, because I'm sixty-one yrs. old & nobody wants an older worker in this day an age. I've worked hard all my life,and I don't like predicament I'm in but I can't do anything about. I wish I could get an answer, Larry.
