The current unemployment extensions expire on November 30, so unless another extension is passed, otherwise million Americans are set to lose their benefits.
But it's very difficult to approved a new extension. Yesterday, The U.S. House of Representatives denied a bill that would have extended unemployment benefits for another three months which would extend the deadline for filing for federal extended unemployment benefits to February 28, 2011.
